Environmental Sustainability
Marc believes environmental sustainability is about making smart decisions today that protect Naperville’s quality of life for generations to come. He supports the kind of thoughtful, data-driven approach demonstrated by Naperville District 203’s Carbon Action Plan, which sets measurable goals for reducing emissions, improving energy efficiency, and moving toward net-zero operations by 2050. As a leader, Marc will collaborate with residents, businesses, and community partners to pursue innovative solutions that are both environmentally responsible and fiscally sound, because a sustainable Naperville is an investment in our families, our community, and our future.
Public Safety
Marc believes public safety means creating a community where every person can feel secure, supported, and able to build a future. During his service on the District 203 School Board, Marc worked to ensure that all students remained protected and supported amid changes in federal policy, including advocating for vulnerable students and LGBTQ+ youth. He believes safety extends beyond schools and emergency response, it includes ensuring that families can find safe, affordable, and accessible housing and that Naperville’s police, fire, and emergency responders have the resources, training, and support they need to do their jobs effectively. Marc will bring a collaborative, thoughtful approach to building a safer and more inclusive Naperville for everyone.
Affordable Housing
Marc believes Naperville should be a community where people of all ages, backgrounds, and income levels can afford to live and thrive. Marc will work with residents, developers, community organizations, and regional partners to identify practical solutions that increase housing options for seniors, young families, working professionals, and others who are being priced out of the community they call home. A strong Naperville means ensuring that the people who teach our children, protect our community, provide essential services, and contribute to our local economy have the opportunity to live here too.
